Ichinawa rope classes by Ichinawakai
In each session, multiple instructors provide school-style lessons to many students, with safety as the top priority.
At Hajime Kinoko’s kinbaku workshops, there is a curriculum ranging from Level 10 to Level 1, allowing students to learn a wide variety of tying techniques step by step.
The order of techniques is uniquely designed by Hajime Kinoko, who has over 20 years of teaching experience, making the progression highly efficient and enabling students to learn and enjoy tying without stress.
- Reservations are required in advance.
*However, same-day participation may be possible depending on availability, so feel free to contact us. - For first-time participants, please attend alone, without a model.
- For participants from the second time onward, it is more efficient to bring your own model.
If you are unable to bring one, please consult with us. - Participation in multiple workshops is not allowed.
We do not accept participants who are currently attending kinbaku workshops hosted by other organizations. - Our classes focus on “shibari” as a form of communication, art, and culture.
They are not intended for any activities that violate public order or morality. - We do not accept participants under 18 years old or high school students.

Venues
- Each venue has its own rules and guidelines.
Please listen carefully to the instructors’ explanations and follow all instructions. - Loitering, smoking, loud conversations, and any behavior that may disturb local residents are strictly prohibited around the venue and its surrounding area.
- If you have trouble finding the location, do not ask around the venue or its neighborhood.

Class Schedule

Lecture videos are also available for purchase.
For English support, please add 1,000 yen to the lesson fee.
For first-time participants, the total cost is 7,000 yen
(5,000 yen lesson fee + 2,000 yen lecture video fee).
Cancellation Policy
From 24 hours before the lesson start time: 50% of the lesson fee.
If you requested a model arrangement, an additional cancellation fee will apply.
